Silence in Silver by whitewolf61084 Silence in Silver by whitewolf61084
This is another of the Speedwell wolves ([link]), Tioga, a wolf I am completely in love with. He's huge, over six feet when he rears back, but just a sweetie underneath his fierce exterior. He's a beautiful beautiful wolf, but not even the alpha of his little pack.

This piece took me some time, probably 7-8 hours. A wolf silently stalking through a snowy forest. I would love some feedback on this piece, any advice would be greatly appreciated. I hope you like it.

although the armour would need some more details, the atmosphere is amazing. his face seems so tensed and focus. nice work

Thank you for the post, and the critique. I thought about adding some more detail to the armor, but everything I did ended up making it too cluttered. I agree it looks a little bare...but what are you going to do. thank you again. the next one has a little more armor detail.

sometimes you just don't want to damage already existing picture, right? I understand. but you got some new experience for future :3
I also like the snow, it's shiny.
maybe some more trees in the background would look nice. drawn very delicately to create deeper forest.

Thanks for the post and the kind words. Yea the trees were like 2-2.5 hours of work. I'm really pleased how it all came out, and there will be another one coming soon.

I told you to wait and see what I had up my sleeve. I've also decided to do a companion piece to this one, so be on the look out. Does it look too dark on your monitor, it looks good on mine, but it looks a little dark on my computer at work. Thanks always for the post.

I don't think it looks too dark, though I have no frame of reference. either way, i think the darks and lights are balanced just fine.
